Tickets for the space opening party are now on sale currently priced at €50. The ticket must be used before 10pm and it includes 1 free drink!

They are being promoted as Early Bird tickets, but i cant see them going up in price online. I would recommend getting them online in advance as they will probably be more in the resort and it will probably be €75 on the door.

As is the script with opening parties now, Space will be opening on the last Sunday of May which this year is the 27th. Space has always marked the start of the Ibiza season and although there is plenty going on around that date, i still look out for the space opening date to know what is happening around it.

No line-ups as yet, just confirmation of the date. You can expect to see an extremely large amount of DJ’s on offer, there will be an outdoor stage built for the occasion which is a great feature of the opening and closing parties. I would expect Space to open at 12 noon (ish).

I have said it before and i will say it again, if you have the opportunity to go to Ibiza for this opening weekend, then please make the effort and go, the Buzz around the place for opening weekend is great and so are the people that make the effort to get there for the opening weekend.

Love love is an Ibiza Stable, if your not sure where to go or what to see, going to We Love will never let you down, I didnt make it to We love this year but that was certainly my loss! All through the summer they have been busilly producing podcasts to bring We Love.. Ibiza to the masses.

In 2011 Manchester really seems to be pushing its own thing on Ibiza. So far Sankeys has had nothing but good reviews from what ive read and moving forward another night will be hitting the white isle.

Between the 23rd and 28th July Electronique which is run by Si Heslin will be throwing a host of parties across different venues in Ibiza. Electronique is a night born in Manchester and has had plenty of very successful nights in Sankeys Manchester and around the UK. Electronique plays deep and soulful tech house music and in a couple of weeks will be taking over Ibiza.

They kick of their tour playing the Zoo Project boat party which is generally considered one of the best boat parties to go on, they will also take on Hush, a pool party at Kanya and what must be the pinnacle of this trip for them, they will be taking over the Red Room @ Space on the 27th July which is also a Northern Lights Night which would make this an amazing night to go to.

This is a quick blog pre next weeks diary entries. No doubt whatever we got up to over there next week will provide some insight into the island and of course our silly raver heads but I just wanted to outline what our battle plans were so if anyone has a special interest in a place they can tune in to see what the place is like from a true consumers point of view. No DJ favortism, music mag bias, snotty journalist write up, just pure 100% how it is gonna be for YOU or rather how it was for me and my merry band of trance warriors, techno kids and minimal yeads!!

We have made a commitment to each other to have it as large as humanly possible and I promise you all that I will bring describe it to you in as much delicious detail as I (legally) can!!

The definates are Circo Loco @ DC10, Be @ Space, Cream @ Amnesia, Zoo Project. I am of course allowing for a few nights of spontaneity to see where the island takes me. I will also try to check out Sankeys and feel that I have missed out on the Fiesta del Agua in the past so will try to write up what a night at that landmark party is like.

Tomorrow Carl Cox opens his 10th season at Space with a mammoth 10 hour set!

10 years ago, Carl Cox was king of the castle at the top of his game, 10 years on, he is still king of the castle at the top of his game! Nobody in dance music has been as consistently good and popular for such a long time, Sure people have been popular for just as long, but i don’t think anyone has been as consistently popular.

There are a few nights in Ibiza i am ashamed to say i have never been to considering the amount of times i have been to the Island and although ive seen Carl Cox at Space ive never been to his night.

If you have the opportunity, i would encourage everyone to get to space tomorrow and help be part of 10 years of Carl Cox at Space.

Not only is Carl playing for 10 hours but you could check out Yousef on the covered terrace which was amazing last time i saw him there (i believe Dance Trippin has a video of this), you can also check out Adam Sheridan in the Red box or Pukka Up in El Salon.

Week two of We love in Ibiza. I was on the island for this party but unfortunately didn’t go, I spent some time on Bora Bora before Space opened and the atmosphere was a great one even early in the day.

I would usually accompany this post with next weeks lineup but as im late with it i will just let you enjoy the podcast

When im on Ibiza, my mobile phone is the last thing on my mind, Crazy data roaming prices mean it stays firmly at the bottom of the beach bag! However, when im back in the world of reality, there is nothing i like more than an App. There are a few good Ibiza related apps and that will probably be a blog post all of its own.

However, i have today found out that Space will be launching their very own App. The ‘outta Space’ app will be launched on June the 29th along side Armin’s new night in Space and if you purchase your Be@Space tickets through the App, you will receive a special mix for free.

The App will be available on iPhone, Android and as a desktop application for people who might not be in the smart phone world just yet. The app will have all the hottest music that is being played in Space and will be updated on a daily basis through the summer with indicators of what tracks are hot on twitter and other social media platforms.

On-top of all this, you will be able to view the whole summers line ups and buy tickets for the nights you want right through the app.

If there is one thing Space can’t be accused of is standing still. This summer Space have announced some big changes and really shook things up, the release of this App is just another notch on the bedpost for them this summer.

Toolroom Records will soon be releasing their Ibiza album for the summer, I have recently really started to love the Toolroom album after having the Umek album in my car for a while.

Check out the album preview below, listening to some Toolroom albums reminds me of being at Ushuaia and Space in Ibiza which is never a bad thing!
