Im a sucker for liking any images or videos of Ibiza before i first went, i love seeing pictures or video’s especially if you get to see the clubs before they all had roofs on.
This weeks installment of We Love..Ibiza has Bobby Gillespie and Mat Playford talking about their early island memories and performances from Bicep, Mat Playford and Lee Burridge.

My general policy on this blog is that i only really blog about things i like, if i don’t like something then i simply don’t blog about it, im not really interested in slating things because for every person who agrees with me, there are people who wont.
This blog post however is my exception to the rule. I always look forward to Radio 1 weekend and listening to it, i think it can be rather commercial but its on the radio so it will always have that element, I listened to the two shows from Ibiza Rocks Hotel and the atmosphere sounded amazing, The short set the Swedish House Mafia played was immense.
Do you want to be part of the Revolution? Carl Cox is recruiting now. Carl and the Revolution are not on the lookout for fresh young talent to show their worth and join them.
They are doing this in the form of a Remix competition. If you are a producer and think you have a talent then why not get involved and show the world what you can do.
The aim of this competition is to find fresh and new talent from anywhere in the world that wants to be part of the Revolution. Remix the tune that is put up on offer and if you win, you will win big.
June is a great time to visit Ibiza, the weather is always hot (for us visitors!!) and the island isnt to busy to move. If your looking out for some openings, then your in luck, many of the club nights open in June, For the clubs however its also a good time, there are often plenty of nights between the clubs opening and the club nights takling their seats for the summer. This is good because you get a loy of one off nights popping up.

Carl Cox is king of the world
This year is the 9th year he has been in Space and it looks to be the best yet. Every year Carl makes sure that he is ahead of the game with the music he plays and the artists he has playing for him.
Often playing two sets, Carl Cox labels Space as the Rolls Royce of nightclubs and his enthusiasm for space, his night and the music he plays shines through with the biggest smile in dance music!
This year his nights start at on the 6th July and the doors open at 8pm. This years lineup has some great Dj’s on and after seeing a few of them already this year at the Space opening, i know they are already on fire this summer.
Its being advertised as a night for like minded people from all over the globe to ‘Come Together’ in one place. There have been no line-ups confirmed or announced yet and the space website lists the dates and not the line-ups. I have seen the flyer for this event with a large list of Dj’s playing this summer and my initial reaction was ‘wow’. the mix of D’j's is not something you would expect to see together but a mix of Dj’s you would like to see in one night out.
A new night for the 2010 season is Thursdays at Space with ‘Come Together’. Not a night ive heard about anywhere else, the RA website notes the promoters as Space and Safehouse Management, it could be ‘Safe’ to say it’s a new night created for Space.
