Now i know you people are not stupid, anyone can go and book a holiday, i thought i would give people a guide on how to do it without just walking into a travel agent and handing over your hard earned cash!! If you shop around you can save hundreds. Now it can be a scary thing but booking flights and accommodation separately is the way to do it. Doing it this way means you don’t have a coach waiting for you and you don’t have a rep but i think they are things i can live without. The airport in Ibiza is not far from the main resorts so jumping in a taxi wont break the bank.

I looked up a two week holiday in San Antonio on the first choice website. I picked a hotel and flights for this example that you can find separate on this site. The hotel is the Poniente in San Antonio near Kanya. For the example i have priced it for 4 people to fly from Luton at the beginning of June.

First Choice Price = Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â£1246.64 (Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â£311 each) Link

My Price = Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â£685.72 (Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â£171.43 each)

thats a saving of Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â£560.92 between 4 people or Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â£140.23 each!

Here is how its done. Firstly i used a website called Alpharooms to book the accommodation (info on the Ibiza Accommodation page.) This cost Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â£434.00 for 4 people sharing a 2 bedroom apartment. The website is really good and one i use. All you need to check in to your hotel is the confirmation email.

Secondly i found flights from Luton on lastminute.com (info on my Ibiza Flights page) These flights were priced at Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â£62.93 each . That gives a total of Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â£251.72 for 4 people. Add the flights and accommodation prices together and you have a total of Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â£685.72.

Its really that simple!

Rise In Early Bookings for Ibiza 2008

According to the Ibiza-Hotels.com blog early bookings for 2008 have risen by 100%. They class early bookings to be people who book for 2008 in 2007. One popular hotel with them is the Jet Apartments in Playa Den Bossa, so they reccomend booking soon to avoid dissapointment and i would agree with them.

Ive only started of with a link to one website (the one i use!!) but i will add others when i get a chance. You will find that accommodation in Ibiza is very reasonable when you book it separate and by using the separate Ibiza accommodation and Ibiza flight sections of this site together you can piece together a holiday to Ibiza for a lot less than at your travel agents. Ibiza Rocks Hotel

Something new for 2008 is something i have only just found out about. It looks like the people from Manumission are getting back into the hotel industry! 2008 will see the opening of the Ibiza Rocks Hotel.

The new home for the night Ibiza Rocks is in San Antonio not to far from Kanya and Coastline and will play hosts to live bands as part of the hotel entertainment on top of the weekly Ibiza Rocks event.

It could become the place to be with the introduction of restrictions to club opening times, Information is not to clear but i dont think hotels are covered by the new restrictions (ill get back on that one).

Either way im sure there will be alot of stories coming from that direction.

Ive had a quick ganders and 2 people can get there for Ã‚Â£939.00 for 2 weeks in June.
