Come Together @ Space Ibiza 02-09-2010

Posted by Gary on Friday 17 December 2010

from part way through the summer, i discovered a website called Mixcloud, whats even better is the fact that it is used a lot by Dj’s, promotors and radio stations to upload and make available sets to listen to at your pleasure!

Come together was a new night in 2010 set up by Space and it was like a department store of nightclubs. In the main arena on the 2nd August was Mauro Picotto with his Meganite brand. It wasn’t a night i saw myself but i know from past Meganites it would have been a great night.

Come Together have just uploaded a mix from the 2nd August, you can listen to it below, or go over to the mixcould website and take a look at the other sets on offer.

Space Opening 2011

Posted by Gary on Friday 17 December 2010

Jump ToLineup

Space will open on Sunday the 29th of May 2011, Originally, i reported that the opening party would be spread over two days again as it was in 2010, however this information seems to have changed and it now only seems to be the Sunday which will be the opening party. It’s a shame, because i thought the two-day parties would become something in themselves, however after being on the island for the opening weekend in 2010, many people said the first day was quiet, maybe this is the result.

The line-ups will come out in dribs and drabs, i will update this post when i read about it, however the main update will be when the full lineup is announced.

If you get the opportunity, this opening weekend is a great weekend to be on the Island, everybody has a buzz about them because it’s the start of a fresh year and they have been waiting all winter for it! This post is about space but the opening weekend is about so much more, it will be a time of year you never have a bad word to say!

The Revolution Continues @ Space Closing 2010

Posted by Gary on Tuesday 21 September 2010

The revolution does continue, only not in Ibiza after tonight, Carl Cox has stormed through the summer pushing forward his message of the Revolution!! Never a bad word can be read about Carl Cox and its simple, he delivers, not only with his own performances but with anything his name gets put to. Weather its his Jazz sets at Sands, or his own domination of Space on Tuesdays.

He doesn’t have people going to see him ‘Because its Carl Cox’ they have people going to see him ‘because its Carl Cox’, confused? I think I confused myself a bit there!
